Guy Gets Charged $62,000 For Downloading A Movie!

April 28, 2009, Posted by Sundar at 10:06 PM

Are you complaining about your internet bill? If you do, check this man(Alberto) out who got billed $62,000 for downloading the movie Wall-E for his nephew. When Alberto explained the carrier how outrageous that is, the carrier made an offer to reduce the bill to $17,000 what it cost them in bandwidth.

The phone company billed the guy $62,000 for downloading WALL-E and Alberto knew he could have bought the movie’s Blu-Ray DVD for just $25.

Do you think what the carrier did is fair?

That is ridiculous there is no good reason it should cost that much, if i was him i wouldn’t pay a penny and i would take it to court.
